Breast Cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women in the United States. However, many of us do not have the correct facts and information about the disease. Here we have debunked some myths that many of us believe in.
Myth #2: If Someone in My Family Has Breast Cancer, I Will Get It TooEven though there is an increase in risk if a family member has Breast Cancer, most women do not have a family history with the disease. According to Susan G Komen, only about 13% of women with Breast Cancer have a close relative (mother, sister or daughter) with breast cancer.
